I can't believe how 2014 is flying by! It feels like as the years go by, they go by faster and faster.  We just finished our Easter mini sessions! Even though it was a nasty day, you wouldn't be able to tell it to look at the pics! As soon as we finish editing them, we will share them on our website!

We are receiving many requests for senior pics.  We LOVE taking senior pics! I think these are quickly becoming our favorite type of session.  Please do not feel like you are asking too late! Many seniors think if they wait until spring of the year they graduate, there is not time for a senior session but there is with Katie Bug Photography! We had a senior session on Monday and hope to have those pics edited in two weeks time!

With the Holidays behind us, and the dreary month of January (my least favorite of the year) also past, we can look forward now to Spring! Yes, I realize we still have a good month to go before spring, but hey! A girl can look forward to something can't she?? Katie Bug Photography is off to a great start having just completed editing our Valentines mini sessions.  This was the first time we have taken Valentines themed pics and we were thrilled with the results! We changed our mini session location to another place on the Register Farm and the lighting was absolutely perfect there with the pine trees providing just enough shade to keep out the glare!

 

Our next mini sessions will be Family mini sessions on March 1st! We've never offered Family pics as a mini session before.  We will go to two locations on the farm for these.  If these go well we might start offering these annually since we receive many requests for Family pics! Can't wait to post some of those soon.

 

We are also in the midst of baseball season! My 15 year old plays High School baseball so you will start seeing a plethora of baseball pics of course! Hope you don't mind the change up, but that's actually how we got started....taking sports photos! 

 

Hope all our customers have a wonderful end of February and we will report back in March after the Family mini sessions! Until then, Happy Spring!

My new picture on the website home page says it all! Christmas is a time for love and family! And lots of pictures! We just had our 2013 Christmas mini sessions day and I've already posted some of the pics! So adorable!  don't forget that we have gift certificates available in any amount that can be used toward sessions, pics, anything you would like! With that, please enjoy your Holiday Season!

Time has gotten away from me like it always seems to this time of year.  I must admit.  I am one of those people who love EVERYTHING about the holidays! One of my absolutely favorite things to do is to compose Christmas cards.  Ever since I had my first child in 1998 my Christmas cards have consisted of pics of my children.  Those cards have evolved from a single pic to (this year) an elaborate fold out card.  I don't like to limit myself to one format.  I order a few different kinds of Christmas cards. I enjoy seeing the differences and hearing back from the people I send them to.  Who doesn't LOVE to see pics of their loved ones?

I hope all of my customers are enjoying the new website.  Even if you haven't ordered yet I hope you are using the website as an easy way to view your pics! Please feel free to offer up suggestions!

The website has been up for almost a full week! It has been time consuming uploading past photos but it's been worth it! I have had so many people tell me how much they love the website and especially how EASY it is to order! No more having to comment on my pics on facebook to place an order! And the pics come directly to you. 

I hope people continue to order from the website.  This is a two month trial run so I will decide by the end of December whether to keep it or not.  Please let me know how you like the website and what your thoughts are! 

Next on the Katie Bug agenda is taking pics at this Thursday's Little League Football Championship games! We can't wait! Please email me if you would like to pre-order a CD for $35 with a print release! After Thursday, CDs will not be available for purchase and you will have to order prints instead if you would like a pic from the game.  We can't wait until Thursday! Oh, and as an added surprise....I will have my brand new sports lens to try out at the game!! Yay! I can't wait!

This is our first week with out new website up and running and we are EXCITED!  Why, you may ask, in this day and age when everyone has a webpage are we excited?? Well there are a few reasons.  One, this will make it so much easier for our clients to order prints and other quality products.  Two, the website makes it possible for people who are not facebook users to view and order pics.  Three, our pics look so much clearer and better on this website!

 

Our next mini sessions are our "Fundraiser for Sara Beth".  Gross proceeds will go to Sara Beth Gerard Summers to support her and her family during her recovery process.  These mini sessions are on 11/16 and there are still spots available! Email me for more info on reserving your spot.  These mini sessions are $50 and will include 5 edited pics on a cd and an 8x10 print. 

 

After that we will hold our Christmas mini sessions in December.  We are proud to announce that these mini sessions will include a hot cocoa stand and peppermint sticks! Fun! That was Katie's idea.  She is the creative business partner!

 

We are now scheduling sessions in January so contact us soon if you want to reserve your spot for a session next year! We are receiving a lot of requests for senior pic sessions which we ABSOLUTELY ADORE! Senior pics are our favorites!!
